Born 20 April 1921, passed away peacefully in his room at Lakeside, surrounded by his family on Friday, 19 January, 2018, aged 96 and 9 months. He lived for another 24 years after losing his beloved Enid in 1993. A gentleman - generous, kind and delightful company. Des loved with all his heart and lived life to the full. Adored, admired and deeply missed by all of us.
